Holiday Cow Bells

SUPPLIES:

For each character:
3" tall Cow Bell
Ceramcoat Metal Primer
Paint Brush
10 mm wiggle eyes
Medium Black Ultimate Marker
Glue gun & glue sticks or quick dry Tacky Glue
Thin red ribbon or cord to hang

For Reindeer:
Ceramcoat Paints: Dark Brown and Fire Red
Brown Fun Foam
1/2" flat wood plug or 1/2" red pompom

For Santa
Ceramcoat paints: White; Fleshtone; and Fire Red
Red Felt - 5" square
White Felt 1" x 2"
White fur - 8" strip
3/8" round wood button

For Snowman
Ceramcoat paints: White and Fire Red
Orange Chenille stem
2" Black Top Hat

DIRECTIONS:

For all characters:
Paint metal primer on bells, let dry

For Santa:
Paint bell white (this will take two or three coats, let dry between coats).

Tie a 6" piece of ribbon to bell handle for a hanger.

Paint face and wood button fleshtone.

Glue button on bell for nose.

Dry brush Fire Red paint to face for cheeks and accent nose (you can also use a make up brush).

Glue wiggle eyes above cheeks a bit closer to the center.

Use black marker to add glasses around eyes.

Using Fire Red, paint a U-shaped mouth under nose.

Cut mustache from white felt and glue under nose and above mouth.

Cut a triangle from red felt for hat - 5 inches x 5 inches x 7 ½ inches.

Glue white fur trim to long edge and glue short sides together.

Glue pompom to tip and glue hat to top of bell.

Fold hat to one side and glue in place, make a small slit in center of hat and pull hanging ribbon through.

Paint bell brown.

Tie a 6" piece of ribbon to bell handle for a hanger.

Paint wood button Fire Red and glue just below the center of brown bell.

Dry brush Fire Red paint to face for cheeks (you can also use a make up brush).

Glue wiggle eyes above cheeks a bit closer to the center.

Make eyelashes and mouth with black marker.

Cut antlers out of brown foam.

Glue antlers to front of hanger on bell.

For Snowman:
Paint bell white (this will take two or three coats, let dry between coats).

Tie a 6" piece of ribbon to bell handle for a hanger.

Dry brush Fire Red paint to face for cheeks (you can also use a make up brush).

Glue wiggle eyes above cheeks a bit closer to the center.

Make carrot nose by wrapping chenille around pointed end of pencil, cut off at tip, and glue to center of snowman's face.

Make mouth with black marker.

Cut a small slit in black top hat. Pull ribbon through and glue hat to snowman's head.
