Rainbow Quilled Egg

Rainbow quilled styrofoam eggMATERIALS needed:
STYROFOAM* Brand Products:
3-13/16" x 2-13/16" egg

Other Materials:
1/8" quilling paper strips, two 100-count pk, assorted colors
Candle stub or paraffin
Serrated knife
Ruler
Fine-tip scissors
Round toothpicks
White craft glue

INSTRUCTIONS:
1.
Wax serrated knife with a candle stub or paraffin. Slice 1/4" lengthwise from egg so it will sit flat.

2. Cut quilling paper in 4" lengths. Carefully roll each strip around a toothpick, forming a 3/8" loose coil. Glue end of strip on back of coil to secure.

3. Using photo as a guide, glue coils in horizontal rows around egg. Work from bottom of egg to top, alternating colors as desired.
