Floral Ring

Project: Floral RingSupply List:
1 focal bead
2 accent beads
20 gauge craft wire
Round nose pliers
Chain nose pliers
Wire nippers
Ring mandrel (or wooden dowel in the same size as your finger)
Chasing hammer (or ball peen hammer)

Instructions:
1. Cut 2 pieces of wire, approximately 24 inches long and 3 inches long.

2. Find the middle of the 24-inch long wire and wrap the wire around the mandrel at the appropriate size mark, using both ends of the wire.

3. When you have approximately 2 inches of wire left on each side, twist wires together once.

4. If desired, hammer the wire lightly, including the twist at the top, to help it stay in place.

5. Put an accent bead on each tail and trim each tail to approximately ½ inch lengths.

6. Using round nose pliers to begin the turn, create a spiral on each end. Hammer these carefully as well, if desired.

7. Place your focal bead in the center of the 3-inch piece of wire.

8. Position the focal bead and wire in the center of the ring and use both tails to wrap the bead onto the base ring.

9. Clip any excess wire and hide the ends of the wire under your focal bead.

Your ring is ready to wear!
