Foam Visors

Foam Visors - Free project for kidsMaterials Needed:
1 ball Fun Fur Lion Brand Yarn (Tangerine)
1 ball Fun Fur Lion Brand Yarn (Hawaii)
or use any color of your choice!

Foam Visors
Knitting Needles - Size 10 (6 mm)
Lion Brand Crochet Hook (Size K-10.5)
Adhesive-back stick-on foam letters
Hot-melt glue and glue gun

GAUGE:
KNIT VERSION 18 sts + 36 rows = 4" (10 cm) in Garter stitch (knit every row).

CROCHET VERSION 12 stitches + 14 rows = 4" (10 cm) in single crochet. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE.


BAND (KNITTED VERSION)
Cast on 6 stitches. Knit every row until piece measures 12 inches or desired length. Bind off all stitches. Fluff Fur.

BAND (CROCHET VERSION):
Chain 6 stitches. Single crochet into 2nd chain from hook and each chain across; chain 1, turn – 5 single crochets. Continue in single crochet until piece measures 12 inches or desired length. Fluff Fur.

VISOR (KNITTED AND CROCHET VERSION)
Assembly

1. Use the stick-on foam letters to spell any name or message on the visor.

2. Use hot melt glue to secure the fun fur band at the top of the visor.
