Seed Stitch Ruffled Wrap

48 in. x 50 in. (122 x 127 cm)

MATERIALS
Lion Brand Wool-Ease: Denim - 8 balls
Stitch Markers
Large-Eye Blunt Needles (Set of 6)
Circular knitting needle size 8 (5 mm), 60 in. (152.5 cm)

GAUGE:
16 sts = 4 in. (10 cm) in Seed st. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you less stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

STITCH EXPLANATION:
Seed Stitch (multiple of 2 sts + 1)
Row 1 (RS): *K1, p1; repeat from * to last st, k1.
Row 2: P the knit sts and k the purl sts.
Rep Row 2 for Seed st.

WRAP
Cast on 201 sts. Working back and forth on circular needle (as on straight needles) work in Seed st until piece measures 15 in. (38 cm) from beg. Bind off 40 sts at beg of next 2 rows – 121 sts.
Next Row: Work even in Seed st.
Next Row (Dec Row): K2tog, work in Seed st to last 2 sts, k2tog – 119 sts.
Rep Dec Row every other row 2 more times – 115 sts, then every 4th row 50 times, every other row twice – 11 sts. Bind off.

FINISHING
Ruffle
From RS, pick up and k 652 sts evenly spaced around Wrap (approx 4 sts per 1 in. (2.5 cm)). Join, place marker for beg of rnd.
Inc Rnd: *K1, inc 1 in next st; rep from * around – 978 sts.
Work even in Stockinette st worked in the rnd (k all rnds) until Ruffle measures 2 1/2 in. (6.5 cm).
Last Rnd: *K1, p1; rep from * around.
Bind off.
Weave in ends.
