Ladybug on a leaf

Craft Idea - Ladybug pompomMaterials Needed:

1 - 1" red pom pom
1 - ½" black pom pom
5 - 5 mm black pom poms
2 - 7 mm wiggle eyes
1 - green felt scrap, approximately 2" x 3"
Low temperature glue gun* or tacky glue
*With help of an adult. Never leave a child unattended with a glue gun
Tweezers
Decorative scissors

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Glue the black pom pom to the red pom pom (spread apart each pom pom, add glue to the center thread, and press together). Dip the 5 mm black pom poms into glue (using tweezers) and place on red pom pom (ladybug's back). Press firmly.

2. Dip the wiggle eyes into glue (using tweezers) and place on black pom pom (head). Press firmly. Cut a leaf shape out of the green felt using decorative scissors.

3. Glue the ladybug to the center of the leaf.

Optional: add magnet to the back of the leaf
