Materials Needed: cutting for a 14” Pillow
Skill Level: BEGINNER
Center - cut 1 - 6-1/2” square from the growing flowers fabric, or fabric of choice
A - cut 2 - 1-1/2” x 6-1/2” strips
B - cut 2 - 2-1/2” x 8-1/2” strips
C - cut 2 - 1-1/2” x 8-1/2” strips
D - cut 2 - 1-1/2” x 10-1/2” strips
E - cut 4 - 3-1/2” x 10-1/2” strips from the bands of flowers fabric, centering the 3 motifs, or fabrics of choice.
F - cut 4 - 3-1/2” squares
Back - cut 1 - 16-1/2” square

16” pillow form
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Sew an A strip to both sides of the center fabric. Press.
2. Sew a B strip to the top and bottom of the center. Press.
3. Sew a C strip to both sides of the center, sewing it next to the A strip. Press.
4. Sew a D strip to the top and the bottom of the center, sewing it next to the B strip. Press.
5. Sew an E strip to both sides of the center, sewing it next to the C strip. Press.
6. Sew a 3-1/2” square (F) to both ends of the two remaining E strips. Press.
7. Sew these to the top and the bottom of the center. Press.
8. For the back, use the 16-1/2” square. Sew to the completed front, right sides together and leaving and opening for turning.
9. Stuff with a 16” pillow form and sew opening closed.
