Left gusset and strap
With right side of work facing, using 6.50mm (US 10'/2), (UK 3) Needles, knit up 7 Sts evenly along side edge of 9 rows of garter St at base of bag (centre of knitted piece). Knit in Garter St until work measures 61 cm (24 ins). Cast (bind) off knit ways.

Right gusset and strap
Work to correspond with Left Gusset and Strap.

Finishing
DO NOT PRESS. Using yarn needle, darn in ends. If desired, using knitted piece as a template, make a lining same size as bag. Using matching plain yarn and back-stitch, stitch side edges of gussets to side edges of bag to top of Bag, allowing 11 rows of stocking St at top of bag to roll to outside. Using a flat seam, join cast off edges of straps together. Slip-stitch lining in position.
