Minkee/Fleece Scarf

Minkee / Fleece ScarfMaterials Needed:
9" x 60" Fleece
9" x 60" Minkee fabric
Scissors
Size 12 Universal Point sewing machine needle
Adding Trim: 1/2 yard beaded trim or fringe or both
Sew Tips for Minkee: Adjust the stitch length longer, 12 stitches per inch. Pin 1" apart and stitch with the Minkee face down.
Fabric Tips: Minkee and Fleece won't shrink. Adding trims require hand washing.

Instructions for TieKnot Scarf:
1.
Trim the ends of both the fleece and Minkee to even the pieces.

2. Pin Minkee scarf to Fleece scarf, wrong sides together.

3. Stitch 3/8" seam allowance on the long sides of the scarf. Leaving both ends open. Trun inside out.

4. Cut through the fleece and the minkee 1/2" fringe 4" long at both short ends of the scarf.

Instructions for Adding Trims:
1.
Repeat steps 1 through 4 above.

2. Fold inside the 3/8" seam allowance all around the bottom and both ends.

3. Fold the ends of the trim under sandwich between the fleece and minkee. Pin in place.

4. Stitch in place 1/4" from the edge and continue all the way around the fleece scarf.
