Materials Needed:
Sculpey III in Red, French Blue and Vanilla Crème
Black 3 dimensional fabric paint (Scribble was used in this project)
Stylus or toothpick
22 gauge silver wire (Artistic wire was used in this project)
Wire cutters
White glue
(Optional) Extra fine glitter in red and blue
Clean work surface (cardboard, ceramic tile as examples)
Baking surface (aluminum covered cookie sheet)
Oven (preheated at 275 degree F)
Recommend an internal thermometer to insure correct baking temperature and a timer

Instructions:
1. Bug's body is egg shaped, about 1½” high.
2. Shoes are slightly flattened egg shapes. Press body on shoes and make an indentation between the shoes to imply legs.
3. Eyes are 2 flattened tear drop shapes. Nose is oval shaped.
4. Arms are tapered logs bent into an “L” shape. Attach to the body and press the “hands” around the button.
5. Antennas are coiled wire inserted into the top of the bugs head. Dab a small amount of glue to the ends of the antennas and press small ball ends of clay. Bake according to manufacturers instructions. Once cooled, dot iris with fabric paint. Optional: cover the ball ends of the antennas with glue and sprinkle glitter.
