Design by Amy Koranek and Iris Weiss - Project courtesy of sculpey.com

Craft Idea - Sculpey Photo holder or Magnet

Photo Holder:
Materials Needed:
1 oz. each of Sculpey III Atomic Orange, Yellow, and White
Orange, Yellow, white, green or purple chenille stem
(1 chenille stem for each photo holder will be plenty)
Black Sharpie permanent marker
Kitchen knife or clay tool

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Divide the Atomic Orange and the Yellow into half. Divide the White into four parts. Thi will make two photo holders and you'll have two lumps of white left over. Shape the orange and the yellow into fat logs. Shape the white into a thick teardrop.

2. Press all three sections together with the orange on the bottom and the white at the top. Shape them into a big triangle with your fingers.

Sculpey Candy Corn

3. Use your fingers to smooth the colors together and shape the triangle more like a candy corn. You can also gently press the candy corn onto your work surface to flatten the top sides and back.

4. Curl up the pipe cleaner on one end so it's not in your way. Leave a couple of inches uncurled. Push at least 1" of the straight end into the white section. Stand the candy corn up in the baking pan. Gently press the candy corn down into the pan so that the orange section is very flat on the bottom and will stand up by itself. Bake at 275º Degrees F for 15 minutes. Remove from the pan when the candy corn is completely cool. Coil the chenille stem up very tightly so it will hold a photo between the coils. Draw a happy face on the candy corn with the permanent marker.

Candy Corn Magnets
What you'll need:
1 oz. each of Sculpey III in Atomic Orange, Yellow, and White
magnets
silicone glue
black Sharpie permanent marker

1. Section the orange and yellow into four pieces and the white into six pieces. This will make four Candy Corn Magnets with two white pieces left over.

2. Follow the instructions for the Candy Corn Photo Holder, however do not push the chenille sticks into them. Bake and then when cool, glue magnets onto the backs.
