Father's Day Tie Tacks
Project courtesy of sculpey.com

Sculpey Father's Day Tie TacksMaterials Needed:
Sculpey (colors of your choice)
Tie Tack or Pin backs
Hot Glue

Instructions:
Step 1 - Think of something fun that your dad would want to stick on his tie, like 'I love dad", or "best dad", or a drawing of you, or whatever. The tie tack should not be any larger than an inch, so it will not get in dad's way. Start with a base that is shaped like a disk or a dome, no thicker than 3/8 inch.

Step 2 - Add on the details, making sure you press them down so they stick. A good way to make letters is by rolling out very skinny snakes, and cutting them for each part of each letter. Remember to use colors that would go with your dad's clothes. He probably doesn't have a suit that would look good with a neon green tie tack, or maybe he does, it's your dad!

Step 3 - Bake according to package directions.

Step 4 - When cool, have a grownup help glue on the tie tack or pin back using hot glue. Then give them to your dad for a great Father's Day present!
