Spring Bunnies
designed by Rita Fleehart

Spring BunniesMaterials Needed:
1 styrofoam egg
4 chenille stems, color of choice (arms & legs)
1 bump chenille stem, color of choice (ears)
2 wiggle eyes
Black fun foam or felt
Acrylic paints, color of choice (only if you wish to paint the eggs)

INSTRUCTIONS to make ONE Spring Bunny

1. If you wish, you may paint the egg any color. Cut 2" off the ends of 2 of the straight chenille stems. Then wrap each of the 4 stems around a pencil to form a spring. Leave 1/2" straight at one end of each spring. Cut 2 bumps from bump chenille close to one end of bump at one end and 1/2" out at other end.

2. Glue ends of short springs into sides of egg for arms. Glue ends of long springs in bottom of egg for legs. Glue ends of ears in top of egg. Place two dots of glue where you want eyes. Take each eye and place it on the glue.

3. Cut mouth from black foam or felt and glue below eyes. Fold one of the 2" pieces of chenille and glue into back of egg for hanger. Have fun with funky colors.
