Wire Wrapped Votives

Wire Wrapped VotivesMaterials Needed
Flower Pot Glass Votive Holder
16-gauge craft wire
Wire cutters
Needle-nose pliers
Beads in assorted shapes and sizes (making sure the hole is wide enough for the wire)

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. For each votive, cut a piece of craft wire approximately 26" long (cut a longer piece if you plan on creating swirl designs). Coil the beginning end of the wire in a 1/2" diameter circle. Continue to bend the craft wire as desired. (Depending on the size of beads you have chosen and your desired wire design, you may want to thread the beads as you are creating your design to ensure that the beads will string along the bends in the wire). Coil the remaining end of the craft wire, cutting excess wire if necessary.

2. Place wire around the votive; wrap the beginning coiled end through bend in the wire to secure.

3. If you would like to create an additional drop, bend one end of a short piece of wire into a loop. Thread desired beads onto wire and coil ends to secure. Thread loop onto bottom coil of the first wire that is wrapped around the diameter of the votive.
