Wood Bangle Bracelet

Project: Wood Bangle BraceletSupply List:
Wooden Bangle
Rub Ons of your choice
Ceramcoat Paint - to match your rub on
DecoArt Triple Thick Gloss Varnish
Embellishments - flat backed
GS Hypo Cement
Foam Paint Brush
 

Instructions:
Using a foam paint brush, paint your bangle at least 2 coats. Let it dry completely between coats. Place your rub on where desired. Rub your rub on completely to your bangle. Add embellishments with GS Hypo Cement. Let dry. Finish your bangle with a top coat of varnish. You can put as many coats of varnish on as you like... just make sure to let it dry completely between coats.

Alternate 1: Stained with Rub On

Black Rub On
DecoArt Triple Thick Gloss Varnish
Using foam brush apply stain according to directions on the bottle. Let dry. Place rub ons where desired. Apply varnish as per directions on the bottle.

Alternate 2: Stained and Engraved

DecoArt Americana Wood Stain
Darice Battery Operated Engraving Tool
Pencil or Stencil
DecoArt Triple Thick Gloss Varnish
Using foam brush apply stain according to directions on the bottle. Let dry. With pencil, draw or stencil design on to bracelet. Engrave with tool according to directions on package. Finish with varnish.
