Yarn Wrapped Candy Corn
Here are the supplies needed to make a Yarn Wrapped Candy Corn.
(Supplies may vary by store, however, special store-to-store orders can be placed with a one-week turnaround. Substitutions will be suggested if a product is no longer available.)
Premier Basix Yarn (in colors yellow, orange and white)
6” Craft Foam Cone
White Glitter Paper
1” Round Paper Punch
Permanent Glue Dots
Step-by-step tutorial on how to make a Yarn Wrapped Candy Corn.
1. Apply a glue dot to the bottom edge of the cone and press the end of the yellow yarn into it. Begin wrapping, stopping about halfway up. Apply another glue dot on the foam and stick the second end of the yellow yarn into it. Repeat with orange and white yarns.
2. To end with the white yarn, apply a glue dot to the top of the cone and stick the yarn end on top.
3. Using the 1” paper punch, cut out a circle from the glitter paper. Add a glue dot and stick to the top of the cone to hide the end of the white yarn.
"Gather" Wood Round Sign

‘Gather’ Wood Cut-Out
Step-by-step tutorial on how to make a "Gather" Wood Round Sign:
1. Put the masking tape where you’d like the dividing line to be on the unfinished wood round piece.
2. Mix the staining medium with brown velvet paint and use a paint brush to cover half the wood disk with this mixture. Let dry COMPLETELY.
3. Remove the masking tape and place it on the edge of the brown paint (which should be completely dry before you do this step). Paint the other side with wedgwood green acrylic paint. Let dry.
4. Pull some leaves of the floral pick that you bought and place some glue dots on the back of the leaves. Place the leaves where desired on the wood disk. You can refer to our model for placement.
5. Put glue dots on the far end of the word ‘gather’ and place it where you’d like.
6. String the wood beads onto a piece of jute (we used 16 beads). Roll a piece of masking tape on the end of the jute to make it easier to string the beads without them falling.
7. Staple the ends of the jute on the backside of the wood circle to make a wood beaded string that you can use to hang your new Fall wall decoration.
