Saturday Sampler Block of the Month 2025
All skill levels welcome!
We are excited to have the Saturday Sampler Block of the Month class offered at our Ben Franklin Crafts and Frame Shop store in Monroe, WA again for 2025. If you cannot make it to the class, we will be offering a virtual option – the link will be included in the same email with the monthly tutorial. We hope to help you learn new techniques with our Saturday Sampler and explore patterns that you might not try on your own.
WHEN: We will meet the first Saturday of each month, at 9am. When there’s a holiday, we will change the Saturday that we meet. (Doors will open at 8:30 for you to get settled in and chat before class). Here are the dates for 2025: Jan 4, Feb 1, March 1, Apr 5, May 3, June 7, June 28, Aug 2, Sept 6, Oct 4, Nov 1, Dec 6, 2025.
PATTERN: At the January 4th, 2025 meeting, we will be handing out your full pattern included with your paid membership of $40. For those of you participating virtually via ZOOM, we will send your pattern to you prior to the first class or you can arrange to pick it up at the store. If we are mailing it to you via regular mail, early sign up is appreciated.
INSTRUCTIONS: The monthly tutorial will be emailed to you on the Saturday of the class, or you can pick it up at our Ben Franklin store in Monroe, WA – (19505 Hwy 2, Monroe, WA, 98272)

Quilter's Patch Quilt by Laundry Basket Quilts
Quilter’s Patch by Edyta Sitar of Laundry Basket Quilts is a technique based quilt with a fun quilty garden theme. Learn foundation piecing, english paper piecing, applique, embroidery, templates, curves and more in this super creative quilt. Fabric bundles are offered instead of a full kit to let you explore your color creativity also.
Star Studded Quilt by Charisma Horton
Star Studded is a fun queen sized quilt that is a great mix of bold colors and texture. We have kits available in Charisma Horton’s Chicken Scratch and Northcott’s Stonehenge. Chicken Scratch Kit $230.00. Stonehenge Kit $230.00
Membership for our Saturday Sampler 2025
MEMBERSHIP FEE for the year: $40.00 (includes pattern)
The class fee will include one of the quilt pattern options. If you choose to make both quilts, you will be able to purchase the pattern for the other quilt. You can sign up ahead of time online or in the store. If you want to choose your own fabrics, the requirements will be available in the store.
Your Saturday Sampler membership includes your pattern and class entrance for the year, all virtual material, tutorials, monthly video of our in-person class, monthly specials for in-person shopping, and access to the Facebook Group. There you can share your projects, ask questions, and stay motivated to get your UFOs done.
