Here are the supplies needed to make a DIY Macramé Candy Cane:

(Supplies may vary by store, however, special store-to-store orders can be placed with a one-week turnaround. Substitutions will be suggested if a product is no longer available.)

Red and White yarn
10mm Macramé
3 Jingle Bells
6” Piece of Jute
1/16in Armature Wire
Pine Floral Pick
Scissors
Masking Tape

Step-by-Step Tutorial:

1. Cut an 8” piece of macramé and a 7” piece of wire.

2. Hold the armature wire 1/2in from the bottom of the macramé. Wrap, wire and macramé, with red yarn, tucking the end up while wrapping to hide it.

3. Stop at the end of the wire. Use a pencil to tuck the end of the yarn into the macramé. Repeat using the white yarn but space your wrapping out to create a stripe.

4. Using a piece of jute, tie on the floral pick.

5. Using a piece of masking tape, wrap one end of the jute tightly and string on all three jingle bells. The tape will make it easier to string on the jingle bells.

6. Tie the jute tightly with a knot and trim the ends to the desired length.

Unravel the ends of the jute and macramé.
