Red & Black "Fun Fur Purse"

Materials Needed:
2 skeins of Lion Brand chenille "Thick & Quick" yarn
1 skein of Lion Brand Fun Fur
Gauge: 2 hd per 1" , 1 row=7/8"
Hook: "I" or any size to get gauge
INSTRUCTIONS:
Notes: Work is done in continuous rnds with no joining.
Inc 1 sc: work 2 sc in same st.
To dec 1hd: (Insert hook in next st, yo, draw yarn through st) twice, yo, draw yarn through 3 loops on hook.
Ch 4, sl st to first ch to form ring.
Rnd 1: Work 6 sc in ring.
Rnd 2: Work 2 sc in each sc (12).
Rnd 3: Sc in first sc, *2 sc in next sc, 1 sc in next sc*, rep from * to * around, end 2 sc in last sc (18 sc).
Rnd 4: Sc in first 2 sc, * 2 sc in next sc, sc in each of next 2 sc*, rep from * to * around, end 2 sc in last sc (24 sc).
Rnd 5-11: Work in sc inc 6 sc evenly spaced on each rnd (66 sc on Rnd 11). At this point you can modify the purse's size. Since this is the base of the purse, make it the desired diameter.
Rnd 12: Work 1 hdc in back loop of each sc around. This forms a ridge.
Rnd 13-32: Hdc in each hdc around.
This is the body of the bag. Make it the desired height. The model is approximately 9" tall. Fasten yarn off.
Change to fun fur. Find the two opposite ends of the top of the bag and mark.
With "I" hook, along the top row of purse, attach fun fur with a sc, ch 20, sc in next ch. * ch 20, sc in next sc*. Rep * to * until you come to the first mark. Sc, ch 20, skip 4 ch, sc in next st. rep * to * until last 4 sc. Skip last 4 sc and sc into beg. sc.
Ch 1 and sc into each sc around top of purse.
STRAP:
With "I" hook, attach chenille to the pleat of one inside of purse. Ch 80 ( this can be adjust to your liking). Attach to opposite side of purse into the pleat.
Sc in ea ch of strap- going to the opposite side. Fasten off and secure ends.
