Crystal Mandala Earrings

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Thread a needle with 3 feet Dandyline.

2. String 6 seed beads and tie in a circle, leaving a 6" tail. Use a surgeon's knot.

3. String, 1 seed, 1 crystal, 1 seed and go back thru the crystal and seed, so the new crystal is close to the 6 bead base circle.

4. Pass needle thru next seed in base circle, moving away from the knot in the base circle.

5. Repeat step 3 and 4 until 6 crystals are in place.

6. Travel needle thru the first seed, crystal and seed, exiting thru top seed.

7. Add a seed, crystal and seed and pass needle thru next top seed.

8. Pull snug and continue until all 6 crystals are connected.  Pass needle thru outer circle twice.  When passing thru outer circle, add a loop of seed beads for an earring hanger.

9. Exit thread after second seed on side of a crystal.  String 5 seeds, then add 6 seeds, go back thru seed number 5, add 4 seeds and pass thru second seed on other side of crystal.

10. Continue around outer circle, travel back to tail at base circle and tie off.  Earring should be tight and have a slightly curved appearance.
