Flowers For Mom

MATERIALS NEEDED
2 ½" Ceramic or Clay Pot
Yellow Tissue Paper -1 Sheet
Pink Tissue Paper - 1 Sheet
Purple Tissue Paper - 1 Sheet
22ga. Green Stem Wire -1pkg
2" Styro Foam Ball
Purple Organza Ribbon - 1yd
Butterfly of Choice (optional)
Excelsior of Choice
Scissors, Wire Cutters, Glue Gun

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Cut tissue paper into 3” squares. For each flower stack (6) squares with yellow on top.

2. Accordion fold the stack and wrap wire around the center.

3. Cut ends of tissue in a half circle to form petals of flowers. Unfold each sheet and fluff flowers.

4. Glue styrofoam ball inside pot and lightly cover with excelsior.

5. Arrange flowers and glue in place.

6. Tie a bow around pot and glue in place.
