Step-By-Step Tutorial

Start by painting the wood hearts with white acrylic paint and set them aside to dry.

Print the envelope pattern and cut out the pieces. Place the pattern on the felt sheet and pin it in place. Cut out the envelope shape. Now pin the inner envelope pattern in place and cut it out. Center the lining on the wool and pin in place. Hand stitch the lining to the wool piece. Refer to our picture for visual guidance.

If you are adding the optional cardstock then leave the bottom open until adding the cardstock, then hand stitch closed.

Fold the sides and the bottom of the envelope and pin in place. Blanket stitch the envelope edges using embroidery thread.

Stitch the wood heart to the bottom of the envelope. Refer to our picture for placement. Cut a piece of ribbon, fold in half, and glue it in place. The final touch is to glue a button to the ribbon.
