1. Print your photo on regular printer paper using a laser printer. (If any words are included in your photo, you must reverse your photo prior to printing. Otherwise it will show backwards in the finished product).

2. Cut your photo to fit your wood surface. Brush on a coat of Matte Mod Podge to the ink side of your photo. Also apply a coat of Mod Podge onto the wood surface you’re using.

3. Carefully place your photo, Mod Podge side face down, onto your surface. Gently rub your burnishing tool along the surface to smooth the photo down and get rid of any bubbles. It will also help remove any excess Mod Podge.

4. Wipe off the excess Mod Podge from the edges of the photo and wood surface.

5. Let dry overnight or 6-8 hours.

6. Dampen the photo paper with a wet towel and gently rub off the paper with your fingers. Repeat this process until most of the paper is removed.

7. Wipe the surface clean with a damp towel one last time and let dry.

8. Apply a coat of Mod Podge on top as a sealer and let dry. Once dry, it will appear clear.
